در مرحله یک هشتم نهایی رقابت های جام حذفی کشور تیم فوتبال سایپا با قبول شکست مقابل سپاهان از گردونه مسابقات حذف شد.

رقابت های جام حذفی فوتبال کشور بعداز ظهر جمعه با برگزاری چند دیدار از مراحل یک شانزدهم و یک هشتم نهایی ادامه یافت.
در اصفهان تیم فوتبال سپاهان با نتیجه 2 بر صفر سایپا مدعی شماره یک قهرمانی لیگ برتر را شکست داد.
گل‌های این دیدار را جلال اکبری در دقیقه 76 و هادی عقیلی در دقیقه 82 از روی نقطه پنالتی برای سپاهان اصفهان به ثمر رساندند.
در این دیدار که قضاوت آن را سعید مظفری بر عهده داشت، احمد مومن زاده مهاجم سایپا در دقیقه 33 و جلال اکبری بازیکن سپاهان در دقیقه ‬89 با دریافت کارت قرمز از زمین بازی اخراج شدند.
تیم فوتبال استقلال تهران نیز عصرجمعه با قبول شکست مقابل‌ تیم مقاومت بسیج فارس از دور رقابت‌های فوتبال جام حذفی باشگاه‌های ایران حذف شد.
حسین کوشکی در دقیقه 31 ‬و صمد اکبری در دقیقه 86 ‬برای تیم مقاومت بسیج فارس در این بازی گلزنی کردند.
محمد نوازی کاپیتان تیم استقلال تهران در دقیقه 74 ‬یک ضربه پنالتی را از دست داد.

تلسکوپ‌های جدید صدای موجودات فضایی را می‌شنوند

یک طرح پیشنهادی برای تعبیه کردن یک نرم افزار شناسایی بر روی تلسکوپ‌های رادیویی جدید که در ابتدا برای مشاهده کائنات طراحی شده بودند، می‌تواند به منجمان امکان دهد که در زمین به صداهای هر روزه از فواصل دور از ساکنان کرات دیگر شبیه به انسان گوش فرا دهند.

به نقل از ایسنا، آوی لوئب، استاد نجوم در مرکز اخترفیزیک هاروارد در کمبریج دراین‌باره، اظهار داشت: این تلسکوپ می‌تواند واقعا هر چیزی را که غیرعادی و مشکوک به نظر می‌رسد شناسایی کرده و آن را دنبال کند.

تاکنون جست و جو برای زندگی فرا زمینی وابسته به مشاهدات و رصدهای معمولی و متداول بوده که مبتنی بر برداشت کردن امواج رادیویی با فرکانس بالا صورت می‌گرفته است.

چنین امواج رادیویی با فرکانس بالا که احتمال دارد از ساکنان سایر کرات منتشر شود، تنها در صورتی که آنها این امواج را آزادانه مانند چراغ‌های چشمک زن به فضا بفرستند، قابل تشخیص هستند.

بررسی این سیگنال‌ها تاکنون به منجمان امکان داده است که پرتوهای متصاعد شده از کهکشان‌ها، سیاه چاله‌ها، کوتوله‌ها، ستاره‌ها و سایر اجرام کیهانی را به ثبت برسانند و در عین حال نیز از مداخله سیگنال‌هایی با فرکانس کوتاه که از رادارهای زمینی منتشر می‌شوند، جلوگیری کنند.

به گزارش ایسنا، اما اگر این موجودات فضایی امواج رادیویی با طول موج کوتاه تولید کنند، چطور؟ آیا در این صورت نیز ما می‌توانیم صدای این امواج را بشنویم؟

همانطور که شنیدن کانال‌های رادیویی AM بر روی دریافت کننده FM برای ما غیرممکن است لذا شاید ما هرگز با روش‌های فعلی نتوانیم صدای این موجودات را با فرکانس‌ها پایین بشنویم.

از این رو محققان در حال حاضر در تلاش برای ساخت ابزار نوینی هستند که بتوانند این قبیل اصوات را بشنوند و شاید این راهی برای یافتن موجودات بیگانه باشد.

احتمال ترکیب نژاد انسان های نخستین و امروزی

دانشمندان مدت هاست که بر سر ترکیب نژادی انسان های نخستین و امروزی نظرات مختلفی را ارائه می دهند.

به گزارش خبرگزاری مهر، قدمت رادیوکربن به دست آمده از جمجمه کشف شده به حداقل 35 هزار سال پیش برمی گردد و عمر جمجه را بیش از 40 هزار سال تخمین می زند.

به گفته محققان، جمجمه از خصوصیات انسان امروزی سهم برده به طوری که یک سر متناسب با انسان کنونی دارد و فاقد برآمدگی پیشانی است که اغلب در صورت انسان های نخستین مشاهده می شده است.

از سویی جمجمه برخی ویژگی هایی که اغلب در "نیندرتال ها" یا دیگر انسان های نخستین یافت می شده از جمله قسمت پهن در جلوی صورت، یک استخوان نسبتا بزرگ پشت گوش و دندان های آسیای بزرگ و استثنایی در فک بالایی را دارا بوده است.

به گفته "جوآئو زیلائو" از دانشگاه بریستول انگلیس، وجود این اختلافات ابهامات مهمی را در خصوص تاریخچه تکاملی انسان های امروزی ایجاد می کند.

بنا بر گزارش آسوشیتدپرس، این وضعیت منعکس کننده حالتی است که طی آن ویژگی های انسان های اولیه در انسان های امروزی مجددا پدیدار می شود و یا نمایانگر ترکیب دو نسل است.

هم ارزی جرم – انرژی

    

   E=mc^2 رابطه ای معروف که حتی می توان آن را بر دیواره شهرها هم دید اما اینکه تا چه حد با مفهوم آن آشنا هستیم٬ خود بحثی عمیق دارد . این مقاله کوتاه نیز سعی دارد تا این مفهوم را به سادگی بیان کند.

آلبرت اینشتن طی یک مقاله ارزشمند علمی در سه صفحه با استدلالی زیبا و عاری از پیچیدگی های ریاضی آن را استنتاج کرده است. او واپاشی پرتوزایی را در نظر می گیرد که در آن هسته پرتو گاما٬ یعنی٬ تابش الکترومغناطیسی با فرکانس بالا گسیل می کند. در مورد چنین سیستمی منزوی که هیچ نیروی خارجی بر آن اثر نمی کند٬ باید انرژی و اندازه حرکت در واپاشی پایسته بمانند. اینشتن با بهره گیری از این دو شرط پایستگی٬ و بیان نسبیتی اندازه حرکت٬ که جرم دختر - هسته باید به میزان

Δm=E/c^2 از جرم مادر کمتر باشد٬ در اینجا E انرژی است که تابش منتقل می کند. به زبان خود وی : " اگر جسمی انرژی E را به صورت تابش از دست بدهد٬ جرمش به اندازه E/c^2 کم کی شود."

این نتیجه گیری٬ گذشته از چگونگی آزاد شدن انرژی٬ به طور کلی صادق است. مثلا در بعضی واکنشهای هسته ای٬ انرژی به صورت انرژی جنبشی دخیل در واکنش آزاد می شود٬ در این صورت٬ بین این انرژی و تغییرات سیستم نیز باید موازنه برقرار شود. اگر سیستمی به جرم m خود به خود از بین برود٬ انرژی آزاد شده عبارت خواهد بود از :

E=mc^2

به همین ترتیب٬ می توان تصور کرد که با صرف انرژی کافی باید بتوان جسم پر جرمی به وجود آورد و در واقع چنین رویدادی هم رخ می دهد. یعنی معادله فوق حاکی از هم ارزی بین انرژی و جرم است و انجام واکنش ها را در دو جهت جایز می داند.

Van Persie picks up injury but still has ‘good chance’ of facing

Robin van Persie has a “good chance” of facing Manchester United on Sunday despite picking up an injury in training.

The 23-year-old Dutch striker hurt his ankle this week and Arsène Wenger will wait for the results of a scan before deciding over his participation at Emirates Stadium on Sunday. But when he spoke exclusively to Arsenal TV Online on Thursday afternoon the manager seemed optimistic.

“At the moment we think it is a very short-term problem,” said Wenger. “He is going for a scan and after that we will know more about it. He still has a very good chance of being available for Sunday.”

Elsewhere there was mixed news. “Eboue will be available,” said Wenger. “But Ljungberg and Gallas are still out.”

The return of the Ivorian right back will be welcome. He has featured in just 66 minutes of first-team action over the course of the last seven games.

Gilberto is suspended on Sunday after his red card at Blackburn last weekend. However Wenger was positive when asked how he would replace the in-form Brazilian.

“With a good player who will give everything against Manchester United,” he replied. “We have players like Flamini who can come in.  He did well at Liverpool recently.”

Focus: 'It hurts to see Chelsea cavorting with trophies'

By Manchester United's lofty standards, three seasons without a title is a pretty poor show. Sir Alex Ferguson's side were the dominant force in English football in the 1990s but Arsenal - and more recently Chelsea - have kept the Premiership trophy away from Old Trafford since 2003.

That could all be about to change. United's title credentials were questioned before the current campaign kicked off but a flying start gave them the momentum to challenge Chelsea. At the time of writing they are six points clear of the champions, free of injury and firing on all cylinders. Oh yes, and they have Ronaldo, a man who has shrugged off the chagrin of press and fans alike in the wake of the World Cup to take his game to a new level.

Ahead of Sunday's big game at Emirates Stadium, we asked Stuart Mathieson of the Manchester Evening News about United's hunger, their two Footballer of the Year contenders, Henrik Larsson's impact and the reaction to Arsenal's 1-0 win at Old Trafford in September.

THE STORY SO FAR
"They started the season well and that has carried on. The fear was that United would have a slow start and playing catch-up with Chelsea is very tough. The mindset at United has often been along the lines of 'we'll be OK in the New Year, we'll be there or thereabouts' but that hasn't happened in the last two years. They have been too far behind Chelsea to catch them and that forced them to change their mindset. Ferguson pointed out publicly and in the dressing room that United could not afford a hit-and-miss start. I'm not surprised that United have maintained their solid start, I always felt they were good enough to keep it going. They are a confident bunch of players. After three seasons without a title the novelty will return if they win it but in fairness players like Neville, Giggs and Scholes have never lost that hunger. For these kinds of players this is the longest period they have gone without winning the title and so the hunger and desire is even sharper. As you know, it hurts to see Chelsea cavorting around Stamford Bridge with the trophy."

MAN OF THE MOMENT
"Well, the only thing that could deny Ronaldo the Player of the Year is Paul Scholes. The pair of them have been terrific and I don't think you can put a cigarette paper between the two. Ronaldo is a more prominent figure because of the World Cup incident and he captures the imagination, but ask United fans and they will tell you how impressive Scholes has been. As for Ronaldo, he always had the trickery but now he has the end product too. He came to United at 18 and at that age you just want to show off as much as you can. He infuriated Ruud van Nistelrooy because when David Beckham was here Ruud would make a run and know when the ball will come. With Ronaldo you never knew when he was going to cross, he would often check back, but now he knows when to do the tricks and equally knows when to send the ball over. He is much more productive now."

NEW FACES
"Henrik Larsson was terrific in his first game against Aston Villa. We'd all seen him in the Champions League Final when he made such an impact but there was always that wonder whether having made his decision to go back to Sweden, to a league nowhere near La Liga, he would mentally ready. Physically there is not an ounce of fat on him and mentally he's been terrific too. Even if he doesn't score he makes a big impact and creates space for others, we saw that when he came on against Arsenal in Paris last May. Larsson can score plenty of goals but he has also impressed with his intelligence and his running off the ball."

TALKING TACTICS
"There's no doubt Ferguson will put his best team out. He made a lot of changes over Christmas just to get them through that programme. If they'd played their best team throughout that period they would probably be shattered now but certainly all the big boys will be there against Arsenal. They respect Arsenal, especially what they have been doing of late, but they will attack at Emirates Stadium. Ferguson has a full squad to choose from and this is another important issue. In years gone by they have missed key players for long spells but that hasn't happened this season. Ji-Sung Park is back after an ankle operation and although Gabriel Heinze has been out Patrice Evra is playing so superbly that he wouldn't necessarily get in the side anyway."

IMPRESSIONS OF ARSENAL
"After Arsenal won at Old Trafford in September I think United were resigned to the fact that they were virtually outplayed. Arsenal passed them off the park and were the better side by far really. I don't know whether United got their tactics wrong but it served as a little wake-up call after winning their first four matches. United got out of the traps quickly but the wheels came off against Arsenal. There was a slight reaction against Reading in the next game but they have put it together since then."
